This is the sort of problem that beset Dems in the last and the last before that elections. They are a party beginning to be seen as somewhat rudderless, indecisive and dithering. They lost votes because people stayed at home instead of hitting the polls, and I think those people could have made a difference. People ain't gonna vote if they ain't got nothin' to vote for. If there is no discernable difference between Rs and Ds, why waste the gas?
