I once advertised for construction supers and quantity survey crews for my business in our local paper with a box number. Someone at the paper got the box numbers mixed up with an ad in the "personals" section written by a gentleman whose ad drew a number of responses from females. I opened two of them before I realized the mistake.

They were hilarious. I still recall one quote, "I smile at the drop of a hat." A less scrupulous fellow might have called her up for joke.
