Hi Charlie when I 1st got to San Francisco (1980?) with Riggy, he wanted to see CityLights bookstore then we had a drink next door & chatted up the waitress who took us across the street to the Alder Museum better know as Spec's. We ended up playing & singing there for free cheese & wine. I heard a session eventually started up there but never heard much about it afterwards. I always drop in there, even though I don't drinbk, it's a classic place.
