I say be glad he isn't of murderous intent and leave them be as friends. None of my cats hunt and I am glad of it. I still put on shoes when I get out of bed at night, though, in deference to the "old ones'" predilections for leaving half-eaten bodies on the bedroom floor when we lived on the ranch.
