Did anyone seriously think the Dems would challenge Bush?

They voted en masse for the war for Christ sake!!
There seems to be a popular movement at grass roots level to get the troops out. The Dems could harness that movement if they really cared, but they stall and for every day thay stall another 20, 30, 100 Iraqi men women and children die....Oh yes and a couple of yanks and a Brit or two hardly out of their teens.
Stop apologising for the slimy bastards and get out on the streets.

Politicians only act in their own interests, so make it in their interests to end this slaughter.
