You are both right....

Ake, what you fail to realize about ASmericans is that, unlike the Brits, they are like hampsters in a wheel... They run, run, run like rabied dogs trying to make a living... They work harder and longer than the Brits or their other European counterparts and they just don't have time to stayed informed....

But... this work, work, work, no play is the seed of "revolution/evolution" because it is eating Americans up... They fully understand they are being eaten up but haven't connected the dots yet.... But they will... America in just one Martin Luther King or Bobby Kennedy away from ***getting it***...

So right now, Dems vote on things which aren't based on ***hard inforamtion*** but what the busy Americans are being fed daily by the advertising industry, the political polsters and the media... There isn't much ***real infornation*** in any of this... Just selling, selling and more endless selling...

So when it comes down to a vote on the war, hey, it won't happen all that fast because the realities of having to find enough votes to overtuern a veto and with busy American busier than ever, it takes a little time to get the cat's herded...
