Sorry if I was a little vague, but all politicians seem "conservative" to me.
Perhaps we need a period of non-political leadership both in the UK and the US. I was reading in todays Times that "Hanoi" Jane Fonda just received a lifetime achievement Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
Apparently although surprised by the award, Miss Fonda was visibly moved and made an acceptance speech full of grace and humility, siting her father Henry as an upholder of justice and Democracy.

I have always thought that Hanoi Jane has it in her to inspire the American people and start them out on a new direction.
Could she be Americas "Fidel"?? I would like to think so...Ake
