One of my favorite lost-and-found stories was losing a ring I'd had since childhood, in a lake near where my sweetie-of-the-time's family had a cabin. Years later, visiting, I see my ring in a little box on a mantelpiece - Sweetie's little sister had found it, and it didn't fit her, so she left it there in case anyone else wanted it... and hadn't told anybody so nobody noticed the little box. I was delighted to have it back!

Now, if anybody knows where my white-cheeked rabbit went, that I lost when I was probably 5 or 6? Maybe on a Pan Am flight?
