On the off-chance that some other guest is trying to be rude at my expense let me say I would never try to put down anyone who genuinely wants help with an Irish phrase or sentence. Your cryptic sentences and phrases could have come from Tolkien :=) It would help a lot if you gave the full context. its never easy to just blurt out 'a translation' outside of context because languages are not the same as a code. They can't just slot in an English word for an Irish word [or German or French for that matter], languages don't work like that. If you were to submit the full text or texts from which your examples come to one of the commercial translating companies now operating [UCC has such a service I believe] you would get answers that would have the same meaning and intent as the originals in full context. Try it.
