Well I'm still milking the cows, so that's a good thing. However today we had a double sadness. Carillion, who had just calved, died this afternoon, and Blossom, who was old and suffering from abscesses in her udder, went to the big cowshed in the sky. Carillion was one of the two who were going to be kept. She was a lovely cow. The good side of this is that they are now probably going to keep Molly instead and she is my favourite.

Otherwise, things aren't so bad. Our trays of herbs are in a farm shop, a village shop and a greengrocers and all sorts of possibilities are turning up. Both the cats are fine, well and happy. Hopefully we are now on the way up!
