I think that you will find that in the war fought between Arab and Jew (That only took place because the Arabs refused to agree to the UN deliniated borders) in 1948 which saw the birth and recognition of the State of Israel by the United Nations, that Egypt captured Gaza and held onto it when it had no right to; that Syria captured parts of the Golan and the shore of the Sea of Gallilee that had formed agreed borders back in 1923 and held onto it when it had no right to and finally the Jordanians captured and held onto the West Bank when it had no right to.
