I understand the point you are both making, but the Democrats are supposed to be representatives of a large section of the American people.
All polls show a massive popular movement against the war and none of the political parties seem to be reflecting that movement.
Once again the people are being let down by those who should be leading them...as was Cindy Sheehan.
