Hehehe... I asked a guy in a Sobey's uniform who was taking stock with one of those handheld jobbies at Sobey's grocery today, "Are there any ABC's of the XYZ's as advertised in the weekly flyer?" He replied, "I don't know. Did you look over there where the XYZ's are?"

I actually looked over in that direction and then turned back with a look of disgust on my face, ready to say something he probably would not have appreciated.

However, all I saw was him walking away. The back of his uniform T-shirt read, "Need help? Ask me."

I asked the next guy I saw. He said, "Right over here." It was a competitor's product at regular price. I told him I wanted the XYZ brand that was on sale in the weekly flyer. He said, "XYZ doesn't make ABC's." I showed him the flyer. He said, " Oh. I'll look out back, sir."

I think the lads went for a coffee... certainly, they didn't go for more customer service training. They may have actually came back sooner. I think they waited until I left.
