I'll add a prayer of my own to the situation, Trubrit. It's a Midwestern one, too. I pray that God will bless your daughter with this job, unless He has something even better in store for her. Whether someone believes in God or not, we can all look back on our lives and recognize the times when we prayed hard for something (or just really wished hard for it) and it seemed like our prayers weren't answered. Sometimes the answer is, "Oh, I can do better than that... just wait on me."

I am deeply appreciative that some of the things I prayed for never happened. They would have ended up being a disaster. :-)

And I'm with Susan. If this doesn't come through, try to help your daughter pick herself up, dust herself off and count on something even better coming along.
