Thread Name: BS: Highways Agency, ...so what
Subject: BS: Highways Agency, ...so what
We were driving up the M6 to Scotland at the weekend, carefully reading the signs so that we didn't get lost, or miss our services.

But there is a rash of signs that just say Highways Agency.

Why?

You have to take your attention from the traffic to read them, especially when driving in the middle lane, if there are lorries on the inside lane.

There were also brown notices, pointing out the tourist attractions in nearby towns, but you could see what they were so didn't have to read them.

Then are the notices that say "Tiredness Kills, Take A Break" in big letters, "Services 2 miles" in tiny letters and don't tell you what you want to know - how far to the one after this.

Then there was the one in light bulbs that said "Frustration Kills".

Next maybe "Reading Unnecessary Notices Kills"
