Sang at a wedding recently where the congregation were entertained beforehand by a slide show of the sort of photographs that only come out at family gatherings and should have been buried in lead, at a crossroads with a stake through them - The baby pictures were iconical, toddler shots cute, first bikini shot was interesting, so was the first Raleigh Chopper bike... but the 'party at which my dad embarassed me to death' complete with tidy whitey pant band showing was a hoot!

The bride and groom had obviously spent several years working themselves up to the actual wedding point, as the laughter of the congregation showed... but it did explain the triumphant 'hands in the air' gesture given by the bride as the vicar pronounced them husband and wife. I feel really sorry for that groom... he's got his hands full.
