As I was standing with the ministers about to go out and get married our caterer walked by shouting into her cell phone saying "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO - JUST FIX IT - FIX IT - FIX IT."

I had already had a conversation with Bretta and said that there were just too many details in a wedding for all of them to go right. So that when something did happen we had to promise to laugh about it and not get upset.

There had been a power failure at our reception site. A three or four block area had so power do to some construction that had cut the line. They had to go out and buy all the candles in the area in order to light the place. It was two days after Holloween so Bretta's reaction was that it looked like a haunted house. Actually it turned out rather nice except I had to pay a DJ to just stand aroud. Eventually a friend who lived nearby went home and found a boom box so we could dance a few times.

And of course just as we were about to leave - the power came back on.
