After the wedding, we held our reception in a big field in the foothills of the Cape Breton Highlands. The scene was in full late July splendour, the sun shone, there were tents everywhere for people to sleep over, dogs and cats running about. We parked at the top of the hill, and my favourite memory is walking barefoot in the grass, still in my wedding dress, down to all our friends cheering and playing music and generally enjoying themselves. It was a major party. ;-)
