Well it turns out that "Mixcraft" is a "Try it free for 7 days" deal which will cost $50 for a key code in order to keep it.
I am so impressed with this one though that I may well buy it.
(when I've used all of my E-mail accounts up)
I think this is the one that I tested earlier this year when they were introducing it to the market.
On another note:
I'm getting a lot of Bumps and Crackles in Playback mode. Any suggestions other than loose connections?
