This planet has flourished, cooked, and frozen in irregular cycles since it first solidified, which was a considerable time before we arrived here. It has switched polarity an unknown number of times, and not one so-called scientific expert today can predict when this might happen again or even what would ensue if it did. For the last sixty years the major powers have blasted Earth with nuclear weapons without a thought of long term consequences. In these enlightened times power stations continue churning out radioactive waste that cannot be disposed of safely, and the best suggestion that scientists can come up with is 'Bury it.'   
So my cheap'n'cheerful £40 return flight to Malaga is the harbinger of doom is it? Yeah, right.
