At my brother's wedding the church cat strolled in during the ceremony and sat just behind the bridal party. After a while Puss became bored with the proceedings and wove around the legs of the aforementioned party, finally finishing up under the bride's train which was part of the back of her dress (girls will know the style I mean). Eventually Puss emerged and was evicted by one of the choir boys. As the groom's family we were sitting in the front pew with a great view of Puss's perambulations - our shoulders were shaking as we thought it probably wasn't good form to laugh out loud. But it was funny.

I don't think my sister-in-law ever forgave that cat.
