Subject: RE: BS: best wedding memories
We got my MIL when we asked my FIL to read -- she got up to leave church (she NEVER went to a service where he was a Reader) and couldn't flee! Then we got MY mother by noting that my father was also sharing the day -- at the time he'd been dead for 23 years and my mother nearly burst into tears.

But the party following was the best. First, the Bride and Groom showed up (who are we to miss a good party?) and then my brother, the drama major, was more than half in the bag and pantomined an automated brewery for the crowd. He remembers very little of it, only the part where he laid on the floor as a fermentation tank, going "bloop! bloop!" and blowing spit bubbles.

The next day my wife and I left for Quebec, and when we re-entered the States she tried to bribe a customs agent with a banana. But that's another story entirely.
