RugbyGuy, would it possibly be Ten Thousand Miles?

Check the DT for Turtle Dove and Ten Thousand Miles. I love these words, but they are a little different from yours.

It's fare you well my own true love
It's fare you well awhile.
If I go away, I will come again
If I go ten thousand miles, my dear
If I go ten thousand miles.

Which brings me to a question I've asked three times now and just can't seem to get a handle on it: Anybody know the various versions of 1) A Thousand Miles 2) Five Hundred (or Thousand) Miles 3) Ten Thousand Miles
which use the "shoe your foot" melodic theme? I'm eternally confused on all these songs, but I keep hearing that melody everywhere.

Mary

PS You might even search for A Hundred Miles to find the tune you're familiar with.
