Lots of good memories, but the first one that comes to mind is one I only heard about later: Chanteyranger happened to phone me to confirm my band's upcoming Hyde Street Pier appearance while I was making my bridely way down to the meadow on our land where we were shortly to get hitched. My soon-to-be-husband, still in the cabin putting the finishing touches on his weddingwear, answeered the phone and got to say "She can't come to the phone...she's busy getting married."

I understand that Chanteyranger was suitably kerfuffled.

15 minutes before that, I'd been up to my elbows in potato salad (I catered the wedding myself), so it's actually just as well he didn't ring earlier.
