I have almost no time to practice these end-of-term days. Some people seem to be able to go from work and change gears into practising and this change is "as good as a rest". I can't do that -- too exhausted at the end of 12-13 hour days. I have a long runway, I guess. I also don't like taking 10 minutes here, and 10 minutes there, and bringing a guitar to my workplace which is what I suppose I should be doing. I hate having one bleed into the other. I won't eat lunch at my desk, and won't play the guitar at my desk either.

In the meantime, I listen to as many records as I can, and do music theory, which seems to be in the same part of my brain as all the rest of this nonsense. It is helpful, I guess, but it isn't practicing. Summer is coming, what more can I say....yours, Peter T.
