Geoff and I got married at Whitby folk week. There must have been about 200 people including three morris teams outside the registry office and inside it was standing room only. All the men had raided the local charity shops for 'Sunday best' hats and we all processed down the hill to the pub via the park for photos accompanied by a Highland piper and other dancers and musicians. I was even more touched when we were presented with a video of the days events from the then landlord of the Tap and Spile who had filmed it all without our realising. That together with the wonderful photos taken by Raggytash are very treasured reminders of a wonderful day. Even now we occasionally get locals saying 'you're that couple that got married aren't you'!
