"In the mid 60s, there was a duo from Exeter who performed songs by the then unknown Paul Simon at clubs in the West Country. One of this duo was John Remsbury (can't remember the other)"

The other could possibly have been Dave Mudge. He was certainly one of the early movers & shakers of the folk scene in the area, albeit a couple of years before I was old enough to get into pubs.
