Since I spend so much time driving my pottery to and from art fairs, my dream car would be a new van. I've looked longingly at the Dodge Sprinter for some time, but now that Daimler has sold off the Chrysler division, I don't know what the Sprinter's status is going to be. It's actually made by Mercedez and is sold as a Mercedez product in Europe, but it carries a Dodge nameplate in the US. Since Mercedez and Chrysler are no longer two different divisions of the same company, it will doubtlessly be discontinued as a Chrysler product. I imagine US Mercedez dealers will begin carrying them soon, but the more prestigious nameplate will probably add a few thousand dollars to the price tag.
