If you watch Letterman regularly, Mickey, you'll see that his is a kind of an off the wall show- he has everything from Stupid Pet Tricks to a Moment in Presidential Speeches (which puts FDR's 'Nothing to fear but fear itself' and JFK's 'Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country' in juxtaposition with our illustrious leader's confused thought and incoherent speech.)

His talk show guests don't come on until after the first half hour.
