I spoke with Tom this AM. He sounds good but a bit weary. Cranky, I think, too. He sent the nurse packing with "I'm on a long distance call." heh heh

He expects to be in the hospital three days and then to go home with a drip. It is an infection and antibiotics should take care of it.
