What a really nice weekend it was. The weather was great and so was the music.

Had anybody been there giving awards for the best toilet facitlies at any festival, they would have won it. The toilets were spotless and kept clean by a man, who when anybody had used the toilet, he would clean it immediately.

There was a very good turnout for the first time, and the stewards worked really hard to make sure everybody enjoyed it.
Excellent controllers/Senior Stewards job done by fellow mudcatter RWJ who worked tirelessly and unsefishly to ensure that things worked smoothly during the festival for everybody.
Great bunch of organisers who also worked tirelessly for everybody elses enjoyment.

Top notch performances from Kathryn Tickell Band, The Doonan Family Band, New Rope String Band, Johnny Dickenson, Vin Garbutt, John Kirkpatrick, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, Malinky, The Demon Barber Road Show and Pete Coe.

Also enjoyed very much Winter Wilson and Something Nasty in the Woodshed.

Thats all I got to see, but enjoyed the stewarding side and met a lot of very nice folkies including fellow mudcatters FolkieDave and Black Diamond.

So roll on next year.
