I never practice...i only play. So, i get up early for the hammer dulcimer, and play for an hour or two, and i take the mandolin to work, and play when there is idle time. The bodran and dumbek only get used when jamming, and can't do melody or chords. Playing frequently is easier if you are obsessive...i figure that the compulsion will never leave me, so lets channel it into something constructive!
