My thought is that 27 months is just about 1 month per kid she put in harm's way. And she did lie to other parents. The sentence seems fair to me given that information.

In the US it is against the law to supply minors with alcohol...which is exactly what she did, 30 times. Ok, 29 times if you don't count her own son...
