Thanks so much Joe for bringing these lyrics and the other info to me. (and thanks to Mark, as well). My weirdo mom (and I mean that affectionately) had some really strange lyrics to this...in the 3rd & 4th lines, something about "Neck on her, like a match stick; Head on her, like a tack." I never even knew what that meant! (like a tack?) And there were other verses about how Alice FELL in the bathtub and how the water swirled around the drain as she went down....! I'm telling ya, my mom has a wicked sense of humor. hahaha She probably had forgotten the words (or was bored by the original lyrics) and just made up her own version!

Anyway, thanks again. Brought back some happy memories...
