I was thrilled to see that my son elected not to give me a cheesy tie - just the usual diaper full of - well, you know. This morning we had the dedication ceremony at my Unitarian Universalist Fellowship - I've performed dozens of these, but it was something different dedicating my own son. My dad even made it out from Michigan for the service. It was a delightful first dads' day.
