My mother-in-law Ivy passed away last week at age of 92.Her mother was Eliza Redgrove nee Kent and sand the Music Hall songs in contests at the New Cross Empire before WW 1.

One of her favourite songs was the above written by Charles Collins and published in 1908. As she lost her husband in WW2 it had a particular significance for her and she often sang it while doing the housework. I cannot find it on any music hall recordings. Does anyone know the lyrics or of any recordings?
