Ahem. I have been invited, this coming Thursday evening, to horsy d'overs and port at the Idaho State University Alumni Club. My opinions have been requested by the Idaho Humanities Council regarding annual lecture series, poetry readings, writers' conferences, folk festivals, and other humanities-type things in this area. I shall suggest a Conference of Science Fiction Writers* of the Pacific Northwest, a Southern Idaho Folk Festival** (sort of like Woodstock I, but for old Folks), and other things like those. I shall do these things because the IHC has money and in this way I can bring some of my friends around to visit at someone else's expense.
