Wow - thanks for the comments! I used John Taylor's melody for After the Dance - and I had immediately a picture in my mind of what the song was ... I found words that perfectly matched the meter and most importantly; paid homage to John's beautiful melody. It is the first and only "word based" poem I wrote. I stared out with page and pages of words that I wanted to use, and rhymes that I liked ... then I simply trimmed the pages down.

I agree also - I love the fiddle playing!
