What I meant was this: I have a habit of drilling lyrics and phrasing into my 55 year old skull my recording the song correctly several times into a cassette tape then listening to the song or songs over and over on my long drives or in this case on the plane. I am normally learning three or four songs at a time - so this technique helps me to quickly get them "hard wired" into my head, so I'm not searching for lyrics when I'm singing.

Works well for me.
