Skipy - of course you have a right to smoke, but it cuts both ways, while you're smoking, it desensitises you to the effects, you just don't notice that your clothes, hair, skin smell bad and that the somke makes others' clothes, hair, skin smell bad, smokers have been having bad effects on non-smokers (especially asthmatics) for years and years. I lost my voice on the first day of Whitby festival, because I sang in a smoky pub, and I had to leave Tony and Pearl's essential sing at Chippenham this year because of the smoke, even though it was the first year for ages that I could (in theory) have sung in the Rose and Crown because my singaround started later.

Please don't stop the great things you do for folk music and folk for MS because you aren't allowed to smoke indoors.
