No, I used to teach IT and one of the things I used to teach was using the keyboard instead of the mouse, and helping people to realise how much quicker it can be.

A very good example is touch typists. If they used the mouse, they would be all day typing documents. Touch typists need to know all the keyboard quick keys. My wife for example, hardly ever uses the mouse and she is translating documents from English into Dutch all day.
