In the Inn At The Ball Park, Houston, Tx, USA, smoking is prohibited except in rooms designated as 'smoking' (which are a small minority) and within a few feet of the bar. In a week, last week, I saw no more than three or four people light up, all of them standing at the bar - including when the place was full of Astros supporters celebrating their win over Seattle. It was a nice, clean, filth-free hotel.
