My sister and I are hoping for a trip to Scotland next summer and are trying to plan (squabbling over) an itinerary. We are probably going to go the fly/drive/self-catering route, for 7-10 days. As I am a great one for going off the beaten track, I thought it might be helpful to get some input from Scottish Catters or those who have visited, and get some ideas for things that one must see when in Alba. We hope to, of course, hear as much music as possible. We also promise in advance to make every effort to not be Obnoxious American Tourists. ;~)
