It is physically impossible to "give Pat a hug." I can't get my arms around her.

No, it's not bodily girth. She unexpectedly had a lipoma (don't look if you want to keep your lunch) removed from her back on Thursday last. If I were to "give Pat a hug" she would a) yell in pain and b) deck me if she didn't c) shoot me first.

I say "unexpectedly" because she knew it was going to have to be done, but not during the examination visit!
