At the beginning of September there will be a week of folk music in Leeds, as part of Celebrate Leeds 2007, the 800th anniversary of the first market charter. As well as a week of singarounds and sessions there will be three concerts, Friday and Saturday evenings in Holy Trinity Church, tickets £5, and a free one in The Light Saturday afternoon. Artists taking part include Tom Napper and Tom Bliss, The Durbervilles, Duncan McFarlane with both acoustic and electric bands, and a variety of other local artists.
