There is much BS in re the meaning of dreams, but some views seem to have more credibility about them than others. One view that has the capacity to generate some consternation is that our individual dreams may not always be for or about ourselves; i.e.; we might sometimes have dreams meant for someone else. These sorts of things seem a bit far out in "western" culture, but cultures (or, I suppose, sub-cultures) more open to elements of shamanism seem less bothered about such things and tend to view them with a greater degree of acceptance. Hmmm!
