I would thoroughly recomend Otley Folk festival in West Yorkshire - Sept 15 - 17, there isn't a bad pub in the whole town, inprompu sessions take place everywhere, there are excellent guests, excelent accomodation, camping, and it is very very friendly, so visitors from U.S.A. Canada, Australia, Africa, Mars, The Moon and the outer solar system wil be made to feel welcome - and the beer is good too.
