I'd like to find out more about the songwriter who wrote "THE OTHER SIDE" (The Icecaps are Melting)
It's on Tiny Tim's "God Bless Tiny Tim -1968"
The liner notes credit "a young songwriter" and give his name as Bill Dorsey. The arrangement, which is probably equally important with this song, is by an Artie Butler.
Google hasn't helped much.
I did find a Bill Dorsey but he seems an unlikely candidate, and the song is not mentioned in connection with him.

Does anyone know anything about the man who wrote this song? I'd be very grateful.
