It's good. I've never heard the expression before, but it's been used elsewhere (try Google)

My Epson Photo Stylus R200 (older model) does a reasonable job too, when it and the computer don't get in too much of a muddle about each other's state, and when I don't get ink in places where it shouldn't be resulting in black smudges across the CD face and the need for tedious cleaning of the works. It's the only thing I use that printer for; I hate inkjets.
