One of the nicest ladies who ever lived died today. Lady Bird Johnson, the former first lady who championed conservation and worked tenaciously for the political career of her husband, Lyndon B. Johnson. She was 94.
Saw them both on a trip to the states in 1975. The looked a lovely couple.
